Louise, Notitia's Analytics Manager, always brings a calm, steady and thorough approach to project management and the data and technology projects that she manages for our clients.

Her impressive experience as a data science leader - working with top Australian brands and government infrastructure projects - is matched by her unique academic background in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and business management.

Having worked across the United States, Canada and Australia, Louise says that her career has seen her work in many different types of environments which has armed her with a high level of adaptability and a holistic perspective.

Read on to find out more about Louise's career, experiences and what she loves about working with Notitia's awesome clients.

What is your role as Notitia’s Analytics Manager?

“I currently have a diverse portfolio of projects,” Louise says.

“This includes comprehensive project management, managing CRM tools, ongoing analytics support, the development of dashboards and bespoke financial reporting tools, as well as website design projects.”

As Notitia’s Melbourne-based Analytics Manager, Louise’s responsibilities revolve around project management for client projects.

For our clients, Louise is a guarantee of the successful delivery of high-quality analytics solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Day-to-day this could be anything from overseeing project milestones, resource planning, and maintaining clear communication channels.

What do you enjoy most about working with your clients?

I like having the opportunity to contribute to our clients’ success, Louise says.

“By collaborating closely with clients, we empower them to harness the full potential of their data, offering tailored solutions that enhance their decision-making processes and overall efficiency,” she says.

“It’s fulfilling to witness the positive impact of our projects on their work.”

Louise says that developing trust is the key to a successful project.

“During a project there’s often a considerable amount of groundwork required before tangible results become apparent to the client,” she says.

“It means that building trust in the process becomes crucial during the initial phases.

“Successfully navigating this challenge involves transparent communication, setting realistic timelines, and showcasing the value of the initial groundwork.”

What are some highlights of your career?

  • Moving into the IT and tech industry in a way that utilises my diverse range of skill sets.
  • Developing the gold standard of risk acceptance process amongst different alliances.
  • Leading a team of engineers in the development of after-treatment control for the Ford Ranger, Raptor and Everest for over 250 markets.

“My career has seen me work in many different types of environments which has armed me with a high level of adaptability and a holistic perspective,” Louise says.

“Acting as the ‘interpreter’ for a highly technical team at Ford when interfacing with our international stakeholders offered me great experience in turning technical jargon into useful client friendly information.

“I have developed a full end-to-end appreciation of data and how it can be utilised - as an engineer, I was required to understand the intent behind requests and requirements, plan, analyse, test, collect my own real world data, and process and interpret the data and report on my findings and demonstrate how they were useful.”

What can you do for clients that surprises them?

“I have the confidence and experience to quickly navigate and steer projects through the unexpected - when confronted with an issue or sticking point during a project, I will always investigate possible solutions and bring them to the client as quickly as possible so that we can move forward,” Louise says.

What experiences do you apply with your clients at Notitia?

In Australia I've worked at Ford Motor Company and Metro Trains Melbourne.

In these roles I developed a meticulous approach to note taking, ensuring that I capture as much detail as possible, summarising and distributing as necessary so that all stakeholders have a coordinated understanding of what's going on within a project.

From my testing background, I've ingrained a proactive mindset of anticipating challenges from project inception and addressing them methodically throughout its lifecycle. This foresight, coupled with a knack for thorough planning and problem-solving, allows me to smoothly navigate projects, minimising disruptions and maximising outcomes for our clients.

Louise works alongside the wider Notitia team, in person with our Melbourne office and virtually across our Adelaide & Canberra teams.
